U15 Gold advances to bronze medal game Sunday 12 noon at Aldergrove

E-mail
Langley United U15 gold won their first game on Thursday with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Cordova Bay. Friday they came up against a tough Prince George side during very hot conditions. The score was tied at 0-0 after the first half. Langley struck first in the second half when a bunch of pinballs bounces put Connor Riley in on goal from the left side and he buried the chance. Minutes later, Prince George equalized on a similar play where Langley netminder Taro Boccia had no chance on the play. Prince George continued pressing and were rewarded when a cross from the outside left went off a few players before flying to a PG all alone in front who headed in the winning goal for a 2-1 victory.
