The youth program at LUYSA follows the guidelines set by the BCSA . In compliance with the developmental guidelines of BC Soccer, U11 and U12 play 8 versus 8 on a playing field.Numerous studies have revealed the effectiveness of small sided games in improving young players both technically and tactically.

U13 and up players follow the conventional 11 aside format and rules set out by the BCSA . Schedule and league information is overseen by BC Soccer Central .
